About this class

Learn about painting still water and the beauty of painting in oils without the smell of turps or toxic substances.

Painting ‘Sunset on the Beach’ and ‘Sand Dunes with Ocean’ and ‘Wet Sand and Ocean’ scenes.

What will I learn?

The workshop will cover some basic composition. Colour mixing, tonal value, light and shadow and tips and techniques for helping these paintings come to life. We will cover both of these subjects over the weekend learning techniques to help improve your skills with both of these subjects. The good execution of water can make or break a painting.

WORK ALLA PRIMA method with attention to SAFER, NON-TOXIC, NON SMELLY, OIL PAINTING.

Who is this workshop suitable for?

All my workshops are TURPS FREE OIL PAINTING – for beginners to advanced Adults; Youth; Upper middle.

• Bring your lunch and snacks or you can purchase from cafes close by. We do have a fridge and microwave at the studio for your convenience.

• Bring your painting gear and as many questions as you wish to ask.
