Beach Scenes in Oils | Marcel Desbiens

Beach Scenes in Oils | Marcel Desbiens

Learn to paint the frozen moment of a small rolling wave on the beach. Capture the transparency, colour and texture of the water movement by using the right brush strokes and variation between translucence of colours and opacity of the white.

In this two day workshop you will learn a quick and easy way to paint realistic representations of water – both still, and in motion. Marcel’s expertise and easy to learn techniques, developed over years of experimentation and research, will enable you to achieve instant results.

  • Absolutely amazing! Marcel has allowed me to achieve results that I never thought possible. He is patient, organized and very clear in his explanations of the technical aspects of oil painting. He also inspires us with his beautiful work. More than anything he manages to encourage and assist each person without any element of criticism and always is constructive and positive in his assistance.
